The Macalester College photograph collection consists of almost 150 years (approximately 1880 to 2023) of photographic documentation of the campus, its students, staff, and events.

This collection which dates from 1972 to the present, consists of original photographs (both physical and digital), negatives, and issues from Mac Today's print run.

The Edward Duffield Neill papers which date from 1838 to 1976 consists of correspondence, articles and publications, photography, professional materials, and ephemera from his life. Much of the correspondence collected are copies of letters of which the originals (and other unique materials) reside within the Minnesota Historical Society's Edward D. Neill and family papers.
